Paid $140 to golf here because it said it was the number five ranked course in the state. Should be like 150th.. the layout was very nice don't get me wrong, but the greens had divots for days and the fairways had scalps taken like crazy. Nobody fixed anything and nobody picked up any garbage around the tees. The old man starter who gets you going is rude as hell and acts like he owns the place. Will literally let girls go in front of guys with tee times after them. Crappy experience for the money.

A great course! 18 holes of a wide variety of layouts, greens and unique challenges you won’t see anywhere else. staff is wonderful! Older men who love golf and love to share stories of the course staff the starter and marshall positions. The ladies at the grill and shop were pleasant and very friendly. All in all, totally worth paying for the “MCKenzie Experience” to get us access to the course. Greens are firm with challenging reads but totally fair. A fun course for anyone (12 handicap).

The University of Michigan Golf Course is a true gem—steeped in history, beautifully maintained, and a fantastic challenge for players of all skill levels. During our recent Veteran Golfers Association event, the course delivered in every way. The staff was organized and courteous, helping ensure smooth check-in and a seamless event experience. Conditions were top-notch across the board, from lush fairways to tournament-speed greens. What stands out most is the atmosphere—there’s a sense of tradition and pride here that you can feel throughout the property. The views of the Big House and the classic collegiate architecture add to the experience, making it more than just a round of golf. If you get the chance to play here—take it. Whether you're a Wolverine or just a fan of great golf, this course belongs on your bucket list.

University of Michigan Golf Course is the ultimate place to tailgate before a Michigan victory! Although it cost $80 to park it was well worth it. Very fun to play the foosball and enjoy some BBQ during the tailgating festivities. Definitely recommend getting here early and enjoying the atmosphere.

Breathtaking! Played this course last week, the employees there were so kind and helpful. The course on the other hand, was not so kind. Designed by the guy that designed Augusta! It was challenging with bunkers in spots righties did not want them ! All the greens were seriously protected by bunkers! A few blind holes where you needed to place shots accurately but all in all it was a great experience with great people and we had lunch there after and the food was pretty good too! Two 👍👍
